• 9/26/2019 The FDA is expected to finalize its policy on flavored vaping products in the coming weeks
• 9/24/2019 Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors votes to ban the sale of flavored e-cigarettes and hookah in unincorporated Los Angeles County (effective in 180 days)
• Reminder: Current FDA policy requires all flavors other than tobacco to be taken off the market and then get premarket authorization before attempting to return to market
• 9/13/2019 President Trump tweets that he likes vaping as an alternative to cigarettes but wants to make sure they're safe and kept away from children
• 9/11/2019 The White House announces its plan to ban the sale of flavored e-cigarettes within the next few weeks or months. Nothing has been finalized 
• Michigan, New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island governors have banned flavored e-juice/pods or vaping products outright
• Hundreds of illnesses reported - as well as 11 deaths -- blamed on vaping
• A majority of these patients reported vaping THC cartridges (i.e. “danking”), often purchased on the black market
• The chemical Vitamin E acetate, a thickening agent, was present in almost all of the cannabis samples from victims identified in New York

We at EC Supply Inc. agree that reports of illnesses and deaths are a legitimate concern and should be taken very seriously. However, it is our understanding that most, if not all, of these health concerns can be directly linked to black market THC cartridges and not the commercially available and legitimate vape products we sell as an industry.

We will continue to purchase, restock, and offer our wide catalog of products as usual, including flavored e-liquids and pods, until otherwise ordered to cease and desist.

The federal flavor ban isn’t guaranteed -- there are things we can do to help!

• Take a stand against illicit THC cartridges to disassociate our industry from it
• Educate your customers about the dangers of these products
• Join the VTA. It’s our voice in Washington and in state capitols
• Email President Trump and tell him NO FLAVOR BANS! We vape, we vote!
• Call the White House at 202-456-1414 and tell them "No flavor ban! We vape. We vote!"
